Aurora Innovation prepares for Pan-European expansion by appointing new CEO

Tapani Kyrki has been appointed CEO of Aurora Innovation, the company behind the market-leading Aurora teleQ “contact management” solution, as of July 1st. He will take up the position after serving as Aurora Innovation’s Country Manager for Finland and the Baltics for the past year.
Aurora Innovation is a fast-growing Swedish SaaS specialist in the healthcare industry. Healthcare centres that use the company’s Aurora teleQ solution are able to manage their telephone queues efficiently, providing patients excellent and timely service.
Currently, 74 per cent* of the Swedish population have access to communication solutions offered by Aurora Innovation when contacting local healthcare services. In Sweden, Aurora teleQ is used by healthcare professionals to manage almost 6 million calls per month. Aurora Innovation, which operates in Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands has delivered more than 3,000 cloud-based installations in the European healthcare market.
With Kyrki as the new CEO, Aurora Innovation will focus on expanding to the Pan-European market with the help of its already successful business concept in Sweden.
Kyrki, 53, has a long-standing career in the healthcare and well-being industry in Finland. Before joining Aurora Innovation, he has held several management positions at leading Finnish healthcare companies, such as Terveystalo and eye care specialist Silmäasema.

Earlier this summer, former CEO Martin Ingels decided to leave his role as CEO of Aurora Innovation.
